“Pathway to Success”

We have planned for the future using a Person Centred Planning tool called a PATH. We thought about what we want to be doing in 2012, and how will get there. The PATH plan will give us things to do(actions), to make Bournemouth People First even better! “Power to the people!”

We are really pleased with how our latest events went. We had 2 events in 2 weeks, one day on communication and another day on housing. We have had great feedback and we think our events just keep getting better!

“Office Opening”
2nd June 2009
We had an office opening party on 2nd June to show people around.
Pam Donellan and Councillor Stephen MacLoughlin cut the ribbon with our Trustee Mark Dyde. There was even bucks fizz to celebrate!
The day was mentioned on the radio, we were in the Echo and the Bournemouth Advertiser-
Camp Bestival
25th July 2009
4 of our “mix it up kru” were asked to DJ at a local festival (Camp Bestival) on Sunday 25th July 2009. At the festival there were thousands of people including other artists like Will Young, Candi Statton, Chic, and PJ Harvey.
The Camp Bestival “mix it up kru” included DJ Dave “I’m so excited, playing to all the beautiful ladies”.
DJ Sean “10 out of 10 experience”
DJ Mark in da Mix “Wicked, 1st time being there, playing with fantastic DJs”
...and DJ Nightmare “I just can’t believe it”.
We all had a fantastic time, and hope we will be doing a lot more festivals in the future!
“Annual General Meeting”

In July we had our Annual General Meeting where we heard about all the things we have done over the year.
